The four season chandelier was designed to recreate the concept of time. During the year the chandelier slowly changes shape, while a day it’s opens up then closes again. This slow transition allows it to provide more light as the day goes on as well as to make sure that the chandelier is never seen in the same position. The chandelier was presented at the the Korean Biannual, where it got awarded as a shortlisted entry. As part of the ‘Floating Time’ collection another version of the four season chandelier was designed for Rough Point Mansion. The past owner of the mansion; Doris Duke's passion for orchids inspired design, aimed to capture the aesthetic of her very own bread of Ophalaenopsis Doris orchid. ."
