Working together
Case study: Sundown oak, USA commission for nightscapes
Judit was invited to display her work at Blithewold Mansion, a renowned estate in New Port, USA. During the exhibition, a gala was held which was attended by sponsors and high-profile guests of the estate. At the gala, a guest expressed interest in Judit's captivating nightscape installation, and has commissioned her to create a unique nighttime experience for her private sea-side villa.
Judit was introduced to her private landscape designer. Following a consultation, Judit and the landscape designer have scoped and agreed upon the designs, time-scale, and location of the installation within the grounds of the villa. Judit then returned to London where she meticulously crafted each piece while simultaneously consulting with electrical engineers and fabricators to ensure that all the lighting elements are seamlessly integrated into her sculptural forms.
Once the artwork was complete, Judit rigorously tested all aspects of the installation before carefully shipping it to the USA. To ensure safe transport, each piece was meticulously packed with eco-friendly materials and placed in a secure shipping crate. All pieces have arrived intact then Judit herself went to the USA to install each piece on-site.
The project was a resounding success, and the collaboration with the landscape architect continues to this day on other projects.
